KODE provides a search based encoder within the platform that allows you to seamlessly submit your work. We encourage you to bring any supplemental reference materials that may help you to be successful.

No, the KODE model is unique in that you get paid per record—meaning you are in control of your earnings. The rate per medical record varies mainly based on chart type and complexity. Earnings range from $1 to $30 per chart.

Yes! Charts are available on a first come, first served basis—as delivered by Klients. You may log in at any time to check availability or complete work.

Our assessments will require you to code charts representing real-life scenarios. Our team carefully reviews each assessment submission and a pass or fail rating will be assigned based on multiple criteria including qualification expectations of our Klients. In order to protect the integrity of our assessments, we are unable to share your specific results.

Koders on the platform are independent contractors and can work as much or as little as they’d like. Koders who qualify based on their earnings will receive a 1099 at the end of the year. If you’re an active Koder, check out the knowledge base for more detailed information about tax filings.

We take protecting your information seriously. Your information is simply used to verify your identity and qualify you for work. We will NEVER sell, share or use your information for any other purpose. Data is protected and stored securely. KODE does not currently offer platform membership to CPC-As. We’d love to hear from you as you progress and remove your apprentice status. Keep an eye out for new opportunities coming soon for those new to the coding profession!

To support your success, KODE monitors quality through both automated tools and our expert audit team. Koders can review their quality and performance metrics on their dashboard.

Currently, our platform is available for U.S. based Koders only.
